Meditative Monday: Introducing Physic Friday
Today hasn't been good. I'm feeling a bit down. I haven't been taking my vitamin D regularly and the weather hasn't been so sunny. But today's weather isn't too bad. I also need to take vitamin B complex more regularly.

Toothy Thursday: Vegetarian Korma
It happens sometimes that I forget to defrost some meat or chicken. Or I'm just tired and/or bored of eating the same protien. Or I get a craving for a turmeric enhanced dish. Often this Vegetarian Korma is my go to dinner plan. It's simple, delicious and nutritious.

Meditative Monday: PCOS Topics to Expect
I've got some more leads on recommendations for PCOS. A friend messaged me with knowledge from a visit with a specialist.

Meditative Monday: Warm Weather Thoughts
Now that the weather is getting nicer, I'm going outside more. Having grown up in a warmer climate country, it's harder for me to go out in the winter. It was a little easier when it was just me. But now I have to bundle up the little one.

Meditative Monday: PCOS: The Battle Wages On
I was talking with my mom this week and I discovered that she had thought MacaHarmony had "cured" or perhaps perfectly treated all aspects of my PCOS.
I wish that were the case.

Toothy Thursday: Simply Sweet Sweet Potato
We all love desserts. What we don't like is the guilt associated with eating it. Whenever possible I try to find a way to have my cake and eat it too! This dessert is no exception. It is simple (from 1-3 ingredients). It's healthy. It's gluten free. No sugar added. Inexpensive. Dairy free. Even baby friendly!

Missed Meditative Monday: Gendering, Gender-bending and Gender-conforming
Welcome back to a belated edition of Meditative Monday.
Something interesting happened on Monday.
My LO was holding a stuffed animal cat, states it's a girl. When I ask why? She says because it has eyelashes.

Toothy Thursday: Jerk Chicken in the Slow Cooker
My SO loves spicy food, so when I first suggested that I make this recipe, he was over the moon :)
My modifications for this recipe were minimal. For the oil, I chose coconut oil (a much healthier option and fairly superior [for cooking] than all the other oils). Instead of brown sugar, I used coconut palm sugar. The other thing that I did differently, is I made it in the slow cooker.

Defined: take two!
Welcome to Klenzing Kuhthuhrsis!
This blog is still undergoing some minor construction. Thank you for your patience while the renovations continue.
It's not the first time that I try and figure out what to make of this blog. But it is the first time that it has a title (previously: Yet To Be Defined).

PCOS Part IV: doctors, medications and treatments
In previous posts about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome we discussed misdiagnosis, symptoms and the less spoken about symptoms.
In this post, I'd like to tackle my journey during the last few months.

PCOS Part III: Depression (the less discussed symptom) & Fatigue
In previous posts we discussed both misdiagnosis and symptoms of PCOS.
I don't deal with all the symptoms but many of them. I quickly glossed over one very important symptom; and that's depression.

PCOS Part II: Symptoms
In my last post, I discussed how my misdiagnosis of many symptoms that should've been red flags led to the delayed diagnosis of my Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
In this post I'd like to discuss more about symptoms and possible symptoms.

PCOS Part I
Dear readers,
I haven't written in a while. I had began preparing the research about aspartame when life got me distracted and I lost the momentum for writing but here I am back again.
As the title might suggest I'll be discussing PCOS. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. This is what I recently got diagnosed with. Due to many reasons over the years it didn't get caught earlier.
